Ginger
We currently offer several varieties of ginger, sourced directly from farmers in Indonesia and of the highest quality.
elephant/white ginger
Elephant Ginger is characterized by its large, plump, and thick-fleshed rhizomes, which are yellowish-white in color. Compared to other ginger varieties, it has a lower essential oil content, resulting in a mild aroma and a spiciness that is gentle on the throat. Its fine fibrous texture and large physical size make it an ideal primary ingredient for processed foods, syrups, candied ginger, and refreshing beverages.
emprit ginger
Emprit ginger is characterized by smaller, flattened rhizomes and a denser fibrous structure. Containing higher levels of essential oils and gingerol compared to elephant ginger, this variety delivers a robust spicy kick along with a distinctive, pungent spicy aroma. Its superior flavor and aromatic qualities make it a preferred choice for culinary seasoning, an ingredient for traditional beverage extracts and instant ginger powder, and a component in pharmaceutical and herbal product formulations.
red ginger
Red Ginger has a distinctive appearance, featuring golden-red rhizome skin and the smallest rhizome size among ginger varieties. It is known for having the highest concentrations of essential oils, oleoresins, and active compounds, resulting in intense pungency and a deep warming effect. Consequently, Red Ginger is specifically produced as a premium raw material for traditional jamu (herbal medicine), immune-boosting supplements, herbal health products, and pharmaceutical extracts.
